HBA YLC Tour of Superior

I was asked by the Home Builders Association to help the Young Leadership Committee better understand the challenges ahead for Superior. On Thursday (July 15) we toured them through most of town while also giving them an overview of both the near and long term challenges for the community. Jason Serbu (Superior Architects) and Louie Delaware (Living in Place Institute) were also on the panel with me. Louie lost his house in Louisville while Jason's is seriously damaged. The attendees asked great questions and really wanted to understand how they can help.

There were also a number of vendors that attended and wanted to know how to get connected directly with homeowners. They understand the economics of going through builders and clearly want to help save homeowners some money. We agreed to touch base in the coming weeks on how to try and facilitate this.
