Superior Community Center

In July 2021, the Superior Community Center had it's grand opening during the 4th of July celebration. It took a bit over a year, but we got a plaque up to reflect the folks that had a hand in it's creation and design.

The board spent an incredible amount of time in 2019 working through the issues with the Land Rover dealership becoming a used car dealership. The Board took the position that the change was in violation of the agreement that Land Rover executed in the late 90's. Cut to the chase, the Town sued, lost, and then decided to purchase the building. We had an active community engagement process that led to the building floorplan and overall design. The expense to remodel the building hasn't been small, but for a community that never had a gathering space, an expense that was long due.
