SUPERIOR RISING
Formed in the aftermath of the Marshall Fire
Superior Rising was born in late January and is now led by some amazing people. The organization is committed to helping remove the obstacles to rebuilding while celebrating the milestones along the way. Completely run by volunteers, Superior Rising is always looking for more help.
Days after the Marshall Fire ended, former Trustee Kevin Ryan and I, met with the folks that created Colorado Springs Together. Very early on, we realized that Superior needed a non-governmental organization (NGO) to help lead the recovery and we were lucky enough to find some great people willing to give up more of their time to help our Community. It was also important that the current Town Board be behind the effort and we made sure there was 100% alignment. In late March, Superior Rising executed an MOU with the Town to clarify any potential for confusion and remains in alignment with the mission
